Our Dutch team is looking for an industrial designer who has an interest in designing products for the Beauty and Health market. So, what will you do exactly?

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a team player with unlimited creativity and interest in working for multiple clients. You are flexible, have an eye for detail, and are able to work focused in a dynamic environment. As a product designer, you will work individually on projects but will also be supported and support other designers, engineers, regulatory experts and stakeholders.

• You have knowledge of and experience with CAD software, Rhino, Solid Works, Inventor, and Adobe Creative Cloud; Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Experience in UI/UX design is not mandatory but nice-to-have.
• You have experience with creating awesome looking-designs and manufacturable products, keeping medical requirements and usability in mind.
• You like to have direct contact with our clients, can listen to their desires and you are able to translate this into product and design requirements.
• You can make clear and good-looking product presentations that explain products and concepts to the team and customers.
• You are interested in the latest AI developments that can support the workflow throughout the design process.

Job description

As an Industrial Designer at LTV, you will be responsible for product, graphic and UI/UX design projects within the company. In this role, you are responsible for inventing, designing, and adjusting products focused on the beauty and health market that contain different technologies such as LED and Laser therapy, Microcurrent and more.

You will have the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Gather input that is required to make a design that fits the brand, idea and wishes of the customer and client
• Determine design requirements
• Create the aesthetic design of products, taking into account the intended use and functionality of the device
• Organize and join brainstorms
• Do sketch iterations
• Create 3D models
• Do rapid prototyping with 3D printers, clay or other materials and tools
• Create renders for clients to present the concept, show details, colours, materials and finishes
• Design packaging and manuals
• Design app interfaces and user flows
• Transferring the design to the engineering and production team
• Work together with the project manager, engineers and other designers.
• Join risk management activities (FMEA analysis).
• Follow our QMS (ISO13485: Quality Management System for Medical Devices)

Job Requirements

• You are allowed to work in the Netherlands (and located in the Netherlands)
• Minimum bachelor's degree in a product design-related study
• Proven experience in creating 3D models for consumer products.
• Experience in the work field
• Able to plan and work with deadlines
• Good control of the English language in writing and speaking
• Eager to learn
• You have a solid portfolio
• Like to work in a young and hard-working International team
• Creative mindset, willing to try new ideas
