As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you love Linux based Operating Systems. You will be part of a team of embedded software engineers who are developing our Linux based Robotic Platform. In the future we want to extend that to multiple components. Beside your technical skills you will cooperate closely with other engineers of Electronics and Robotic Applications. Together focusing on continuously improving our (software) development practices and our products.
Your main responsibilities
Team Interaction:
- Be part of a platform development team of 6 engineers
- Ensure an effective cooperation with our development partners in Europe.
Technical contribution:
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our Linux-based platform.
- Work on configuring, integrating, and debugging the Linux kernel and userspace components.
- Participate in improving software reliability, performance, and security.
- Support integration of new hardware platforms (e.g., ARM and x86 architectures).
Agile Practices:
- Worked in teams that used Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging yourself and colleagues to learn, adapt, and enhance their processes.
