OTT Hydromet Delft seeks a candidate Quality Control (QC) coordinator. The main purpose of this role is to verify that a company's products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards by conducting inspections, tests, and measurements to identify defects or deviations. Their core responsibilities include monitoring production, documenting findings, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations, and recommending corrective actions to maintain product integrity and brand reputation.

Reporting to the Team Lead Supply Chain & Logistics, the Shipping Coordinator will play a crucial role in exporting our products by managing international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, coordinating with freight forwarders, and maintaining accurate documentation to support timely and cost-effective delivery.
This position is part of the Supply Chain & Logistics Team located in Delft, NL and will be on-site.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Prepare, monitor and ensure that all products which are produced by our production plant, are exported/shipped to our global customers. The work also includes to monitor and take ownership of shipment needs from remaining internal stakeholders. In addition the shipping coordinator will also maintain and monitor information in the ERP system; INFOR-SYTELINE.
The required shipping coordinator would preferably have basic experience in customs documentation such as but not limited to; EXA, EUR1, Certificate of Origins, CMR’s, ATR’s and Letter Of Credits.
As shipping coordinator you should display excellent multitasking abilities. Familiar with the export and importation processes including basic knowledge of shipping- and incoterms. An important element of the work is to have day to day contact via email, phone or teams to resolve any urgent bottlenecks which may have occurred during the transportation of the exported or imported products.
Responsibilities:
Arranges all required imports & exportation of manufactured and resale products (creates and prepare shipments, packing slips, invoices, customs formalities).
Communicate with logistics suppliers and scheduling of orders to ensure shipments are released as per agreed on time delivery schedule.
Handle internal as external communication with a large variety with regards to logistics related questions from a variety of stakeholders;
Resolving any customer complaints with regards to logistics topics a customer service oriented manor.
Daily interact with cross functional teams like procurement, finance and customer service to pro-actively resolve bottlenecks to perform the shipping processes.
Collaborate with manufacturing planner to ensure aligned expectations on product readiness dates.
As final step in the supply chain process to pro-actively conduct daily shipment planning and prioritize sales orders together with outbound warehouse pickers.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Proven experience with ERP Packages.
Proven work experience as Shipping Coordinator or a similar role in the logistics department.
Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office.
