Overview


MIM (Market Initiative Manager) job in Hanoi, Vietnam. The person develops and executes integrated marketing plans to drive business growth in Vietnam, combining in-person events (seminars, tradeshows) with digital campaigns (EDM, webinars, web promotions). Collaborates closely with sales to prioritize opportunities, supports localization of marketing content, and coordinates with regional marketing teams for execution.


Responsibilities


  • Develop quarterly and annual marketing plans to drive business growth in Vietnam.
  • Plan and execute in‑person marketing programs, including technical seminars and tradeshow participation.
  • Execute global digital marketing programs in Vietnam, including e‑direct mail campaigns, webinars, advertising, and web promotions.
  • Support localization and translation of marketing materials by proofreading and modifying English webinar content, e‑direct mail copy, and website content.
  • Align with the sales team to identify priority areas and address key growth opportunities.
  • Work with the event marketing team in a remote location and support local marketing logistics in Vietnam.
  • Monitor industry and competitors trend on a monthly basis and report insights to management.
  • Develop and manage quarterly and annual budgets for marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze the ROI and effectiveness of marketing programs, and incorporate improvement opportunities into future initiatives.

Qualifications


== General Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • 3–7+ years of experience in technical marketing, applications engineering, field engineering, or a related role within the test & measurement, semiconductor, communications, or high‑tech industry.
  • Strong understanding of electronic measurement, wireless, semiconductor, or system‑level test technologies (depending on assigned business area).
  • Language skills: Native Vietnamese, English Proficiency both in written and verbal
  • Understanding of integrated marketing and communication (IMC)
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer‑focused marketing messages and value propositions.
  • Hands‑on experience developing technical marketing assets, such as presentations, solution briefs, application notes, demo scripts, or white papers.
  • Experience supporting product demonstrations, customer briefings, seminars, webinars, and industry events.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Management, Sales, and Regional Marketing teams in a cross‑functional environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to technical customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with digital marketing programs (e.g., webinars, e‑direct mail, web promotions) and familiarity with marketing performance metrics such as MQLs, pipeline contribution, and ROI.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet aggressive timelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail and execution quality.

== Preferred Qualification

  • Spoken and written Chinese skills to address China+1 opportunities
  • Prior experience in semiconductors, wireless communications (5G/6G), aerospace & defense, automotive, or data center markets.
  • Experience working in a regional or APAC environment, including localization or local‑language marketing execution.
  • Familiarity with competitive analysis, positioning, and go‑to‑market strategy
