Responsibilities


The role of solution engineer for Services at Keysight Device Security forms an important bridge between Account Management and Operations (i.e. execution and delivery of the services to our customers). Solution engineers are capable of understanding the customer needs, scoping the project and defining the approach, pre-requisites and delivery.

Solution Engineers support the account managers to make competitive and compelling offers that meet customer needs. In addition, they understand and align with the delivery team on how the service can be executed, delivered in time/budget and meet customer expectations. Solution Engineers analyse and understand the market trends and requirements from a technical point of view and translate them in compelling service offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates globally with Account Managers on customer requests in their specific field of expertise
  • Collaborates with Security Lab (Project Managers, Technical Leads) on specific requests and definition and maintenance of the Services offering
  • Writing the “content” of Statement of Work and ProjectPlan, such as scope, approach, deliverables, pre-requisites. The commercial part is responsibility of Account Manager.
  • Support Account Manager in negotiating and winning deals.
  • Defining and maintaining Statement of Work, ProjectPlan, and effort calculator templates for standard services.
  • Defining and maintaining commercial training for Account Managers, including commercial material (pitch/presentation)
  • Maintain industry expertise and proactively share/make available in accessible way to regional Account Managers. This include a.o. attending events, develop thought leadership material/positioning, identify commercial trends and translate to compelling service offerings
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as certification schemes, customers, partners.
  • Championing a dynamic, collaborative culture that breaks down silos, fosters mutual respect, and drives continuous learning across our global, interconnected organization.


Qualifications


  • Technical (e.g. computer science) academic background
  • At least 5 years of experience in mobile security technology
  • Knowledge and expertise in payment security certification industry, including PCI MPOC and EMVco SBMP is strongly preferred
  • Strong commercial drive
  • A masterful storyteller who can craft compelling narratives, turning complex technical insights into engaging stories that inspire and drive innovation.
  • Proven record in building meaningful relationships with key stakeholders
  • Team player
  • Curious, ambitious, creative and eager to learn and improve
  • Strategic mindset and analytical
  • Excellent communication skills (in English)
  • Ability to travel internationally, occasionally (up to 10% of your time)
