We are searching for the best talent for Senior Manager, Procurement Operational Excellence (Knowledge, Training and Market Intelligence) to be in Zug, Switzerland; Titusville, US NJ; Cork, Ireland; Leiden, Netherland; Beerse, Belgium; Latina, Italy, Praque, Cz.
The IMSCP Operational Excellence team is essential for enhancing operational efficiency by providing support in data analytics, price management, spend analysis, and supply risk event management, which includes tackling supply issues, coordinating Tiger teams, and assessing performance metrics.
This involves collaborating with planning teams to drive advanced Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and strategic initiatives such as inventory optimization and collaborative planning. Additionally, the team actively supports the execution of Supply Risk Assessment (SPRA) and Supply Chain Resiliency initiatives, ensuring proactive measures against potential supply disruptions.
The IMSCP Operational Excellence team will also spearhead continuous improvement efforts, identifying and implementing scalable efficiency opportunities while leveraging digital solutions to transform processes and significantly enhance functional effectiveness across the organization.
You will be responsible for:
Knowledge Management & Capability Building
Owns the learning and capability strategy for IM SCP Procurement, identifying training needs and designing a structured curriculum across different levels of the organization.
Ensures training content remains highly relevant, forward‑looking, and aligned with category strategies, market dynamics, and business priorities.
Builds and maintains Spectrum as the single “go‑to” knowledge and training hub for IM SCP Procurement, ensuring high adoption, usability, and continuous content refresh.
Communication, Influence & Strategic Storytelling
Leads the communication of the IM SCP Procurement Strategic Program, ensuring clarity, consistency, and strong engagement across stakeholders.
Demonstrates strong influencing skills to shape decisions, align leaders, and drive adoption of new ways of working.
Crafts compelling narratives that connect strategy, insights, and value delivery.
Market Intelligence & Category Enablement
Translates IM SCP category and strategy needs into advanced market intelligence requirements, complementing the foundational insights delivered by the One Procurement Market Intelligence Center.
Identifies, tests, and evaluates best‑in‑class intelligence solutions, data sources, tools, and channels that enable deeper industry understanding and differentiated category strategies.
Enables category teams to become true industry experts, with a deep understanding of supplier landscapes, cost drivers, innovation trends, risks, and value levers.
Builds strong relationships with category leaders, procurement teams, analytics partners, and key stakeholders.
Proactively captures stakeholder needs and ensures alignment between insights, capabilities, and procurement strategy execution.
Data, Analytics & Insights (External data and Insights)
Coordinates and leads a network of analytics contractors to deliver data‑driven insights across categories and procurement operations.
Supports analytics and data needs for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), T2Ts, category strategies, and strategic initiatives.
Translates complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform decision‑making and strategy execution.
This position will have some contractors and potentially procurement professionals as direct reports.
The Senior Manager Procurement Excellence is part of the IMSC Procurement organization and reports to the Director, Procurement Operational Excellence.
Qualifications / Requirements:
To excel in this role, candidates must possess:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree is required with a preference of study in business or technical/ engineering
MBA is preferred
Experience and Skills:
Required:
A minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
Extensive experience in supply chain management, strategic procurement, and sourcing, with a focus on delivering transformative results in complex environments.
In-depth knowledge of market dynamics, supplier relationship management, and cost optimization methodologies.
Expertise in setting up training programs and driving capability building in large organizations.
Strong partner management skills working with cross category, supply chain and other functional partners.
Ability to lead, influence, partner on & shape projects without direct team / authority
Ability to engage, interact and negotiate value enhancing relationships with suppliers
Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to respond to changes in the external environment, while ensuring the organization is able to effectively and efficiently move through transitions

This position may require up to 10% domestic & international travel
Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week
Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills and a capability to identify and implement process improvements. Proven leadership abilities are important, as the senior manager will play a key role in guiding teams and fostering a culture of excellence within the procurement function.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
