Hybrid working opportunity, office presence required 1-2 times per week

About the Job

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will join the Global People Team in this newly created position, reporting into the Global Talent Manager. The incumbent will partner with People Business Partners and Internal/External stakeholders across all of the IB’s international offices to provide a high quality recruitment service which is flexible, cost effective, focused on business need and delivered with enthusiasm.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with the Global Talent Manager, another Talent Acquisition Specialist and two Talent Development Specialists to coordinate and deliver a holistic program to help IB achieve its ambition of becoming an organization that ‘optimizes its way of working to empower talented colleagues to do great work’.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work with Global and Regional colleagues across the organisation to provide a full Talent Acquisition offer including the sourcing of high quality talent for the IB population across multiple disciplines in addition to managing own tasks and projects.


The Talent Acquisition Specialist will join the Global People Team in this newly created position, reporting into the Global Talent Manager. The incumbent will partner with People Business Partners and Internal/External stakeholders across all of the IB’s international offices to provide a high quality recruitment service which is flexible, cost effective, focused on business need and delivered with enthusiasm.

About You

  • Demonstrable experience in a Talent Acquisition (in-house) role for a large-sized employer.
  • Thorough understanding of recruitment best practice, process, policy and awareness of the appropriate legislation.
  • Experience of using an Applicant Tracking System / ATS.
  • Collaborative and professional, always eager to provide an excellent experience to hiring managers and candidates. Enjoys partnering with People / HR Business Partners.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Customer focused and service delivery mentality, with ability to work at pace whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to effectively communicate with external/internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Flexible and agile to accommodate changing needs of the role and department.

    • Annual Salary in the region of EUR 55,471 - 69,339 (negotiable dependent on experience)

  • Recruitment Delivery: support Global People teams to manage end-to-end recruitment. Conducts thorough intake meetings to best understand business needs for the role and to set expectations with hiring managers. Ensures effective and timely resource delivery to all areas of the business by attracting and securing talent through building a strong employer brand. Provides a credible, approachable and knowledgeable service to hiring managers, People Business Partners, candidates, and third party suppliers (where applicable). Conducts pre-screening interviews to enable a successful shortlisting phase for hiring managers. Builds solid relationships with hiring managers to become a trusted advisor on all recruitment matters and recommendations. Ensures a seamless recruitment process for candidates and hiring managers alike.

  • Innovative Campaigns: provide customised strategies for each vacancy, highlighting value add and creative recruitment initiatives. Monitor and encouraging diversity through the recruitment process with creative campaigns and costs with external suppliers.

  • HRIS and ATS Systems: superuser of Oracle Hiring Module as an ATS. Partners with Global People Shared Services on Oracle systems issues and queries, working to resolve problems and improve processes. Ensure all issues are resolved cooperatively and in a timely manner.

  • Recruitment Data Management & Analysis: ownership and accountability for accurate information throughout the recruitment process. Maintains People data privacy, ensuring there are no breaches. Ensure People data is accurate and timely in monthly/scheduled reporting.
