Location: IB (International Baccalaureate®) Global Centre, The Hague
Salary range 40.825 EUR - 51.031 EUR annually including holiday allowance based on fulltime employment

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week), fixed term position

About the Job

The Operations team provides logistical and administrative support and oversight to the Education Office 50+ staff comprising of Programme Heads and Curriculum Managers for the development and delivery of products and services to IB schools across the world. The development of these resources involves close collaboration with other divisions, in particular, Assessment, Global School Services, Professional Development and the Multilingual Publishing Group as well as with educators and experts who work on development teams and committees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective planning and monitoring of the annual programme operating and financial goals and deliverables of the Programme Development Department within the Learning and Teaching Division.
  • Provide operational support for the review and development of IB programmes
  • Represent the Department in daily operational and business-related activities
  • Facilitate and support operational initiatives to increase departmental operations efficiency and effectiveness
  • Deliver a high level of service excellence to both internal and external stakeholder
  • Support and oversee timelines for delivery and liaise with stakeholders on timely submissions of requested work; keep detailed record of progress of delivery.
  • Provide logistical and onsite support for all internal and external review meetings including but not limited to: basecamp set up, travel arrangements, scheduling, venue reservation, catering.
  • In liaison with Legal team and OAM, provide copyright and GDPR related support to ensure all products and services meet the legal standards.
  • Support trialing of new assessment components and sample collection to develop programme materials and workshops

About You

  • A qualification at degree level or equivalent experience, including but not limited to vocational training or relevant certifications
  • Effective communication skills in English and proficiency in additional languages is a plus, especially in a multicultural work environment
  • Excellent command of the Microsoft office suite
  • Demonstrated ability in business analysis and reporting (KPI tracking and reporting)
  • Understanding of basic financial management
  • Experience in business office operations and management
  • Experience with industry classification standards related work is a plus
  • Project management experience is a plus
