InnoSer helps Europe excel in biomedical research and innovation. There needs to be a focus on accelerating biomedical research in Europe and promoting Europe as a centre of medical research innovation. To tackle the significant societal challenges in this domain, improved coordination of excellent research across Europe and scientific input in biomedical research initiatives from the outset are vital. This means that science should choose to join forces by connecting networks, standardization, interoperability, reducing costs, and working transparently. Only then will Europe be able to track the competition with America and Asia.
