We are looking for an IT Product Owner defining and managing all finance and controlling related IT projects and solutions, working towards achieving our vision of a seamless, connected and SAP based IT landscape for Large Project business at Hilti. To complement our team, we are seeking for an IT Product Owner to plan, manage and deliver digitalization projects. The role drives the build-up of a team and processes to sustainable manage the Finance & Controlling area within the Large Projects program. You will strongly contribute to one of our core initiatives out of our new corporate strategy shaping the future towards “Make Construction Better”.
What You'll do
As the IT Product Owner – Large Projects Finance & Controlling you will shape the future processes and IT solutions to improve step by step the areas of finance and controlling within Large Projects. In line with our IT and Business project teams you will define, deliver, and run solutions contributing to our vision. This innovative position requires business understanding, IT know-how, project & portfolio management skills as well as strong competences to implement and operate these solutions. One of the most dynamic and diverse IT challenges is waiting for you. This position will be responsible for leading and supporting new business solutions based on latest technologies, e.g. SAP S/4 HANA.

What you need is:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance or in a related field (PhD is a plus)
- 4-5 years of relevant work experience in IT (SAP), Project Management, Finance & Reporting, economics or strategic business projects
- Experience in different areas of a company or different sectors.
- Experience with working with reporting systems
- Experience in project-driven industries is a plus
- Willingness to work closely with business counterparts and good stakeholder management & communication skills
- Entrepreneurial attitude – taking responsibility in understanding topics, owning them, and delivering success
- Product/Project Management – experience in managing multiple projects and initiatives in your area in a portfolio way as well as end-to-end project delivery experience
- Skills in manging product related topics like backlog, budget, vendors, externals, and internal resources
