What's the role?

The Head of Large Project Execution manages project execution, material planning, and operational excellence for project business, including complex and large orders and integrated project solutions. This role directly leads various managers and reports to the Global Head of LPE.

What does the role involve?

As a member of the Management team, you will ensure that the Logistics Project Business team supports Hilti Lead 2023 group strategy objectives and drives awareness, direction, and leadership. Responsibilities include setting strategic goals for customer experience and operational efficiency, collaborating with logistics areas and other functions, partnering with the regional Logistics team, managing operations and budgets, and developing performance standards. Additionally, you will act as a business partner to key stakeholders, support the development and implementation of global standards and policies, and ensure effective project execution through Lean Leadership. The role also involves defining product modification setups, establishing fulfillment solutions, and optimizing materials management. Overall, you will be responsible for driving performance and operational excellence in large project execution and related areas.

What you need is:

• Master’s Degree (MBA preferred)
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience required, including leadership with a diverse mix of various functions (engineering, manufacturing, operations, etc.)
• International experience living in a global organization
• Strong track record of investing in diverse teams and their development to ensure leadership pipeline development from within the organization
