Job Summary

As a SailPoint Engineering SME at HCLTech, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, implementing, and optimizing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using SailPoint. Your expertise will ensure seamless onboarding of applications, robust compliance, and scalability of IAM environments. This role is critical to safeguarding client environments, driving process efficiency, and supporting HCLTech’s commitment to delivering secure, innovative, and scalable technology solutions to its global clientele.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and onboard applications within the SailPoint platform, ensuring adherence to established development and process standards.
  • Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC): requirements gathering, design, development, testing, release, and production support.
  • Debug and resolve system issues, proactively reducing orphan account counts and optimizing system performance.
  • Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive technical and business support documentation.
  • Apply system enhancements and recommend scalable improvements to SailPoint applications.
  • Plan, execute, and independently manage assigned tasks, delivering on project milestones.
  • Design and customize IAM solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Build a deep understanding of the business processes supported by the applications.
  • Provide timely and proactive status updates to stakeholders and project leads.
  • Identify, assess, and escalate risks that may impact applications or project outcomes.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, and a commitment to excellence in all deliverables.
  • Exhibit a strong client service orientation, ensuring positive stakeholder experiences.
  • Leverage core Java development skills for solution customization and integration.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with geographically distributed teams.
  • Analyze and translate functional requirements into detailed solution designs.
  • Continuously suggest and implement scalable approaches while identifying inefficiencies.

Skill Requirements

  • Proven expertise in implementing and supporting SailPoint IdentityIQ applications.
  • Strong experience with Java development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in distributed teams.
  • Experience with the SDLC, including Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to develop technical and business support documentation.
  • Certification: SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Implementation Engineer (Must).

Other Requirements

  • Certification: SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Solution Architect (Preferred).
  • Experience with other IAM technologies such as Okta, IBM Security Identity Manager, or Security Access Manager.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of scalable architectural approaches and process improvement.
  • Ability to identify and address system inefficiencies.
Maximum Salary (US): 135000
Minimum Salary (US): 76000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
