Job Summary
The Senior Oracle EPM FreeForm Developer is responsible for the hands‑on design, development, enhancement, and support of Oracle EPM FreeForm applications, including FreeForm cubes, calculations, integrations, and automation. This role focuses on building scalable, high‑performance planning and analytical solutions, often as part of a larger Oracle EPM ecosystem that includes FCCS, EPBCS, Anaplan, and ERP data sources.
The developer works closely with architects, finance stakeholders, and offshore/onshore teams to deliver robust FreeForm solutions and support ongoing FP&A operations
Technical Skills
- 6–10+ years of experience in Oracle EPM / Hyperion development.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle EPM FreeForm and Essbase (ASO/BSO / Hybrid).
- Proficiency in Calculation Manager, Groovy scripting, and complex business rules.
- Experience with Data Management / FDMEE, metadata management, and data integrations.
- Working knowledge of Smart View, Narrative / Management Reporting is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
FreeForm Development & Build
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle EPM FreeForm cubes (Hybrid BSO / ASO concepts), including dimensional models, hierarchies, and member properties.
- Develop calculation scripts and business rules using Calculation Manager and Groovy scripting.
- Build and optimize FreeForm forms, Smart Lists, validations, and task flows to support FP&A use cases.
Integration & Automation
- Develop and maintain data integrations using Data Management / FDMEE, including mappings, load rules, and data validation.
- Implement automation using EPM Automate, REST APIs, and scripting to support batch loads, refreshes, and administrative tasks.
- Support integrations from FCCS (Actuals) and Anaplan (Forecast/Budget) into FreeForm environments where applicable.
Skill Requirements
2. Experience in implementing and supporting oracle epm cloud pbcs solutions in an enterprise environment.
3. Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and trends within the oracle epm cloud pbcs platform.
4. Knowledge of financial planning and budgeting processes to design efficient solutions using oracle epm cloud pbcs.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
6. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to oracle epm cloud pbcs.
7. Certification or training in oracle epm cloud pbcs is preferred.
