Job Summary
Core Job Responsibilities
Physical Implementation: Execute floor planning, placement, and routing (P&R) for high-speed LPDDR6 PHY blocks.
Timing Closure: Meet stringent setup, hold, and derating requirements at frequencies exceeding 14 Gbps.
Signal & Power Integrity (SI/PI): Collaborate with packaging teams to manage IR drop, electromigration (EM), and crosstalk.
Low-Power Design: Implement power gating, multi-voltage domains, and clock-tree synthesis optimizations suited for AI and mobile applications.
Design Rule Checking (DRC) & LVS: Ensure tape-out readiness by resolving physical and schematic verification errors in advanced processes (e.g., FinFET/GAA).
Key Responsibilities
Education & Experience:
15+ years of experience.
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electronics / Electrical/Computer Engineering with a strong background in VLSI design.
Protocol Familiarity: Experience in high-speed memory interfaces (LPDDR5/LPDDR6, GDDR, or HBM) and associated equalization techniques.
Tool Proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard EDA suites (e.g., Synopsys IC Compiler II, Cadence Innovus, Tempus, or Calibre).
Scripting: Proficiency in Python, TCL, or Perl for design automation and workflow optimization.

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
