Job Summary
Develop and maintain a comprehensive product catalog, ensuring accurate classification and standardization of all entries. • Regularly update catalog information, including new products, discontinued items, and specification changes. • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather, verify, and input detailed product descriptions, technical specifications, and pricing. • Ensure product categorizations align with business needs and industry standards. • Maintain data integrity within the catalog management system, ensuring consistency across platforms. • Conduct regular data audits, cleansing, and deduplication to improve accuracy and reliability. • Implement data governance best practices to standardize entries and prevent inconsistencies. • Monitor data quality metrics and resolve discrepancies in coordination with relevant teams. • Develop and manage product-related content, including descriptions, images, technical details, and marketing materials. • Ensure that catalog content adheres to brand guidelines and enhances product discoverability. • Optimize product information for search engines and internal search functionalities. • Administer catalog management platforms, overseeing user access, permissions, and configurations. • Identify and troubleshoot system-related catalog issues, working with IT teams to resolve them. • Provide training and technical support to internal users for catalog-related systems. • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product management, and customer support, to ensure the catalogue meets business needs. • Collect and analyze feedback from internal and external stakeholders to improve catalog accuracy and usability. • Assist in training cross-functional teams on catalog management tools and best practices. • Generate regular reports on catalogue performance, including product availability, sales trends, and data accuracy. • Analyze catalogue data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. • Present insights and recommendations to senior management to optimize catalog management processes. • Ensure the catalog adheres to industry regulations and internal compliance policies. • Implement catalog management best practices to maintain efficiency and scalability. • Stay updated on emerging catalog management technologies, trends, and process improvements. • Lead and contribute to catalog-related projects, such as system migrations, process automation, and integrations. • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
