Job Summary

The Senior Administrator – Azure Active Directory is responsible for day‑to‑day L2/L3 operational support of Azure AD (Entra ID) within DFS Support & Operations. The role ensures stable identity and access management services, handles complex incidents and escalations, and supports security, governance, and compliance requirements in line with HCL and customer standards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide operational support for Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, including users, groups, roles, and directory services. Handle L2/L3 incidents, service requests, and changes related to identity and access management, ensuring SLA adherence. Troubleshoot and resolve authentication, authorization, SSO, and login issues across integrated platforms and applications. Administer and support Conditional Access policies, MFA, password policies, and directory security configurations. Support identity lifecycle activities such as joiners, movers, leavers, access reviews, and role-based access control. Assist in problem management, RCA preparation, and implementation of corrective actions under guidance of the Track Lead. Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and support audit and governance activities

Skill Requirements

Strong hands‑on experience with Azure Active Directory / Entra ID administration. Good understanding of IAM concepts – authentication, authorization, RBAC, Conditional Access, and MFA. Experience working in enterprise L2/L3 support environments. Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change, service management). Exposure to Azure, M365 integrations, and identity federation concepts. PowerShell scripting experience is preferred

Other Requirements

Ability to work in a 24x7 support model, including on‑call and escalation support as required. Experience working with global delivery teams and customers. Strong ownership, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities effectively.
