Job Summary : Job Title: ServiceNow ITSM Specialist (Lead Role) Location: Chennai (Preferred) Experience Required: Minimum 8 years (Lead experience preferred) Role Overview We are seeking a ServiceNow Specialist with strong expertise in ITSM and HRSD modules. The candidate will lead ServiceNow development activities, manage release cycles, and mentor a team of developers. This role requires hands-on experience in Service Portal design, Service Mapping, Discovery, and integrations, along with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities : Key Responsibilities - Lead ServiceNow development and manage monthly release cycles. - Collaborate with clients for requirement gathering, estimation, and solution design. - Manage a team of 5 developers; mentor junior staff and ensure best practices. - Handle instance cloning, upgrades, and integrations with third-party systems. - Configure workflows, service requests, and catalog items. - Design and customize Service Portals, layouts, forms, and plugins. - Responsible for Service Mapping activities and supporting Discovery processes. - Monitor service mapping results, reconcile anomalies, and ensure accuracy. - Work with Service Owners and SMEs to maintain reliable service maps. - Perform regular maintenance of modeled applications and trigger service reviews/audits. - Gather requirements and produce weekly/monthly status dashboards.
Skill Requirements
Skill Requirement : Required Skills & Qualifications - Minimum 6 years of experience in ServiceNow ITSM development, implementation and support. - Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks. - Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge). - Experience in Service Portal design and customization. - Proficiency in Service Mapping and Discovery tools. - Strong knowledge of integrations (Intune, SCCM, SAMP, etc.). - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Other Requirements
Other Requirement : Preferred / Added Advantage - Experience with ServiceNow HRSD modules (case management, employee workflows, employee service portal). - ServiceNow certifications (ITSM, HRSD, ITOM). - Exposure to domain-separated instances and multi-region implementations. - Expertise in UI Policies, Data Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, REST APIs, UI Actions, Script Includes, ACLs, and GlideRecord.
