Job Title: Migration Business Analyst – Transact T24 Specialist

Role Purpose
The Migration Business Analyst (BA) will be instrumental in Julius Baer’s core banking transformation initiatives, focusing on the migration of client, account, and transactional data into Temenos Transact T24. As a key member of the programme, the BA will combine business insight with technical proficiency to ensure accurate, auditable, and compliant data transitions while upholding the highest standards of data integrity and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate migration workshops with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and IT teams to define data sources, transformation rules, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure all workshop outcomes—decisions, open points, exceptions—are fully documented, reviewed, and signed off.
- Translate business requirements into detailed data mapping specifications between legacy systems and T24 entities (e.g., CUSTOMER, ACCOUNT, SAM, CONTRACT,POSITION, LEDGER, FEES & CHARGES, ETC.).
- Oversee the build activities performed by the migration development team and own the testing process to validate their deliverables against agreed specifications.
- Execute and/or supervise test scenarios, including data extraction, transformation logic, file formatting (FBF), and load validations in T24 environments (DEV → UAT → PROD).
- Perform reconciliations and gap analyses to verify completeness, correctness, and consistency of migrated data.
- Report, track, and revalidate defects in close collaboration with developers and testers.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive artefacts: workshop summaries, mapping documents, test scripts, evidence packs, and handover documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Swiss Banking Act (BA) principles, data protection laws, and regulatory reporting obligations (FATCA, MIFID, CRS, AML/KYC).
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in banking IT projects, preferably within private banking or wealth management.
- Proven participation in at least one T24 implementations or migration programmes in a functional or business analyst role.
- Good knowledge of Temenos Transact T24, including navigation (FI, DD), versioning (TVMM), workflows, products
- Hands-on experience with data migration testing, validation techniques, and defect management.
- Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail and data quality.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, requirement elicitation, and conflict resolution.
Preferred Attributes
- T24 certification (e.g., Temenos TLC and TCCP certification) on Private Banking modules such as Securities, Derivatives, Structured Products, Fiduciary, Forex, Financial reporting.
- Familiarity with Triple A plus product.
- Familiarity with jBASE, TAFC, SQL, or scripting languages for data validation purposes.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar tools for tracking tasks and documentation.
Accountabilities
- End-to-end ownership of migration analysis, workshop facilitation, and output documentation.
- Full responsibility for validating deliverables from the migration development team through structured testing and reconciliation.
- Delivery of migration assets fit for audit, governance review, and operational handover.
