Job Summary
SharePoint / OneDrive / BOX Engineer – Tenant Migration (Quest Tool)
1. Lead SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and BOX tenant‑to‑tenant migrations using Quest migration tools.
2. Perform discovery and assessment of SharePoint sites, OneDrive accounts, and BOX repositories.
3. Analyze content structure, permissions, sharing settings, and data ownership across platforms.
4. Design detailed migration wave plans based on business priority, content size, and complexity.
5. Coordinate migration activities with business users, site owners, and application stakeholders.
6. Execute migrations from BOX to SharePoint Online and OneDrive while preserving metadata and permissions.
7. Monitor Quest migration jobs and proactively address failures or data inconsistencies.
8. Validate migrated content for accuracy, access, and usability post‑migration.
9. Manage modern SharePoint sites, hub sites, and Teams‑connected SharePoint content.
10. Ensure information governance, security, and compliance standards are maintained in the target tenant.
11. Address user queries related to access, sharing permissions, and content navigation.
12. Work closely with Exchange and Teams SMEs to manage cross‑workload dependencies.
13. Communicate migration schedules, expected impacts, and completion updates clearly to stakeholders.
14. Support post‑migration remediation, stabilization, and user adoption activities.
15. Maintain comprehensive migration documentation, reports, and business sign‑off records.
