Job Summary

The Design Lead is responsible for overseeing Component Cost Estimation using Boothroyd and SEER Galorath techniques. The primary focus is on estimating the cost of individual components using specialized software and methodologies, ensuring accurate cost projections and cost control measures are in place throughout the design process.

Lead the component cost estimation process for projects using boothroyd and seer galorath methodologies. 2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather necessary data for accurate cost estimations. 3. Analyze and interpret cost estimation data to make informed decisions and recommendations. 4. Develop cost models and documentation to support cost estimation processes. 5. Ensure compliance with project timelines and budget constraints. 6. Provide guidance and training to junior team members on component cost estimation techniques. 1. Proficiency in component cost estimation methodologies such as boothroyd and seer galorath. 2. Strong analytical skills to interpret cost estimation data and make strategic decisions. 3. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams and present cost estimation findings. 4. Detail oriented with the ability to work accurately under pressure. 5. Experience in using cost estimation software and tools. 6. Knowledge of design principles and practices in relation to cost estimation.< 1.Certification in Component Cost Estimation methodologies like Boothroyd or SEER Galorath is a plus.
