Job Summary
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, complex data center projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.\r\nDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.\r\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams (networking, security, operations, etc.) to ensure seamless project execution.\r\nAct as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including senior leadership, clients, and vendors.\r\nFacilitate regular updates, status reports, and meetings to keep all parties informed of progress, risks, and issues.\r\nProvide technical guidance and support to teams working on data center infrastructure, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.\r\nLead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure data center solutions, including networking, storage, and compute infrastructure.\r\nEnsure that all technical solutions meet the organization’s security, compliance, and performance requirements.\r\nManage project budgets, ensuring that all expenditures are tracked and controlled.\r\nOptimize resource allocation across projects, balancing the demands of various initiatives while maintaining high levels of efficiency and productivity.\r\nWork with procurement teams to manage vendor relationships and contracts related to data center hardware, software, and services.\r\nEnsure all data center projects comply with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal governance policies.\r\nDevelop and enforce policies and procedures related to data center operations, security, and disaster recovery.\r\nImplement process improvements and adopt new technologies to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of data center operations.\r\nStay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data center management and assess their applicability to the organization’s needs.\r\nTrack project progress, provide regular updates to stakeholders and prepare status reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate project status and performance.\r\nEnsure service level contracts are in place with the OEMs\r\nCoordinate logistics and project management activities based on consultations with stakeholders\r\n

Skill Requirements
Desirable skills include proficiency in technology concepts, networking, security, and cloud computing.\r\nOperational Compliance, Organizational Development, Data Analysis, Interpersonal Communication, Agile Project Management, Order Management, Vendor Relations, Time Management\r\nExperience Required – 8+ Years of relevant experience with at least 3-5 years focused on enterprise data center environments.\r\nCertification – PMP, CSM, PSM, any Agile certification preferred and relevant technical certifications like CCNP.
