Job Summary
We are looking for strong Data Engineers with experience in building scalable data pipelines and working on modern cloud-based data platforms. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Apple’s preferred data engineering stack and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/data pipelines
- Build and optimize batch and streaming data processing workflows
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Data Analysts, Product Teams, and Platform Engineers
- Ensure high data quality, reliability, and performance across pipelines
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform performance tuning
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with distributed teams
Skill Requirements
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Python programming
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark / PySpark
- Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
- Strong SQL skills and data modeling knowledge
- Experience working with large-scale distributed data processing systems
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP / AWS
- Experience with CI/CD and version control tools
- Good understanding of data warehousing and big data concepts
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with BigQuery, Iceberg, or Data Lake architectures
- Exposure to Kafka or streaming technologies
- Experience working in enterprise-scale data platforms
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant Data Engineering experience preferred
