Operational Technology Architect
Lead OT Cybersecurity Architect / Program Lead
Role Summary
The Lead OT Cybersecurity Architect provides technical leadership for large-scale, multi-site OT cybersecurity programs. This role owns OT security strategy, architecture, standards, and execution across global manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead global OT cybersecurity risk assessment programs across multiple sites
Define OT security architecture standards, templates, and reference designs
Own zone/conduit models, segmentation standards, and control frameworks
Review and approve site security designs and implementations
Lead complex site engagements and executive-level technical discussions
Guide and mentor junior and senior engineers
Coordinate with IT, enterprise security, and operational leadership
Support global rollout planning, governance, and reporting
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years experience in OT engineering, industrial automation, or OT cybersecurity
Strong background in large-scale manufacturing or industrial environments
Proven experience designing and leading OT security programs
Deep understanding of industrial networks, architectures, and controls
Ability to translate security requirements into practical plant-level designs
Experience working across regions, cultures, and multiple stakeholders
Education & Preferred Certifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field
Advanced OT security or architecture certifications – preferred
Program leadership or architecture certifications – a plus
