Job Vacancy: Supply & Process Manager Location: The Hague area, Netherlands Education Level: Higher Professional Education Contract Type: Full-time About GTM Advanced Structures GTM specializes in developing, manufacturing, and testing advanced structural panels and assemblies, such as high-end aluminum-honeycomb sandwich panels, for the space industry. Our products are integrated into cutting-edge satellite systems where failure is not an option. As we enter our next phase of growth, we are looking for a visionary professional to build, structure, and scale our operational backbone. The Challenge: From Foundations to Future Team We are looking for a Supply & Process Manager who can start as a hands-on executor and evolve into a strategic leader. Currently, our purchase management, logistics, and ERP workflows require a structured blueprint to support our expanding project pipeline. We see this role as a phased journey. The building blocks start with mastering and optimizing our existing ERP system. From that foundation, you will streamline our purchasing and logistics activities. Your ultimate goal? To design and build a robust department from scratch, which will eventually extend into a dedicated team managed by you. We need someone who can get their hands dirty on day one but possesses the long-term vision to see the end result two years down the line—and keeps that dot on the horizon firmly in sight. Key Responsibilities ERP Ownership (The Foundation): Take full operational ownership of our existing ERP system. Clean up workflows, optimize data integrity, and ensure the system serves as the “single source of truth” for all manufacturing and material tracking. Purchase Management: Manage the procurement of space-grade materials (e.g., specialized aluminum alloys, honeycomb cores, adhesives). Negotiate with international suppliers, secure lead times, and guarantee traceabilities required for aerospace standards. Logistics & Supply Chain Improvement: Oversee and professionalize incoming and outgoing logistics. Ensure materials arrive just-in-time for production and finished satellite structures are packed and shipped under strict quality protocols. Process Development: Continuous improvement is in your DNA. You will analyze existing bottlenecks in the supply chain and implement scalable processes. Department Growth: Lay down the infrastructure, KPIs, and workflows so that as the workload expands, you can seamlessly scale the department and transition into hiring and leading your own team. Your Profile You have a number of years of working experience and are between 26-35 years old. Educational Level: Minimal HBO (Bachelor) level, preferably in Business Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Affinity with Technology: You feel completely at home in a high-tech, precise manufacturing environment. You do not need to be an engineer, but you must be able to understand the rigorous demands and language of aerospace production. Visionary yet Pragmatic: You can think two years ahead, visualizing a fully-fledged supply chain department, while simultaneously executing daily purchasing and ERP tasks today. ERP Savvy: Strong experience working with, tweaking, or optimizing ERP systems. Passionate & Quality-Driven: You share our passion for space technology. You understand that a typo in an ERP system or a delayed material shipment can impact a satellite launch date. Language: Fluent in English (Dutch is a strong advantage given local operations). What We Offer An exciting, very dynamic industry and really fun group of colleagues. A unique opportunity to build your own department within a high-tech aerospace company. A steep career growth trajectory, moving from an independent manager to a team leader within two years. An inspiring, passionate environment working on hardware that actually goes into space. Are you ready to launch your next career phase with us? If you have the stamina to build the foundations and the capacity to lead the future end result, we want to hear from you.
