Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Electronics Designer who wants to work on data acquisition and control systems. You will work on hardware for capturing accurate sensor signals for force, pressure, temperature, etc., and on hardware capable of controlling valves, relays, and motors. For new and redesigned equipment within the innovation pipeline.
Within this role, you will be a member of the Innovation Technology Commissioning and Implementation group. This team focuses on thorough testing, design improvement implementation and commissioning, optimizing performance, and reliability. Your focus is on the (re)design hardware used for geotechnical investigation and offshore surveys.

Your role
You work on architectural designs, schematics, and printed circuit boards, testing and verification of renewed and new circuits.
You are involved in the production of prototypes, test procedures and technical manuals.
You work on electronica hardware elements part of automation aspects of equipment, which can be used onshore and offshore.
You liaise with the design team to review, advice and consult on practical and safety related aspects of the design.
You work independently on designs and cooperate with mechanical and software engineers where needed.
You are in the lead during the execution of acceptance testing and validation and play an active role in field pilot projects.
You are part of the innovation 3rd line support where you solve complex issues related to both hardware and software and are the point of contact for the electrical side of the products.
Your track record
You have a BSc. degree or higher in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and have affinity with mechanical design or reached similar level by experience.
You have demonstrated experience in circuit and PCB design, signal integrity and EMC;
You are fluent in English (both written and spoken);
Experience with Altium is considered a plus;
Experience in a maritime / offshore environment is considered a plus.
