Job Description
Fugro is seeking an experienced Global Head of Finance to lead the financial strategy and performance of our Fleet Services organization. Based at our headquarters in Nootdorp, you will oversee financial governance, operational finance, and long‑term value creation across our global fleet operations.
In this leadership role, you will hold full financial accountability for all Fleet Services entities and for the services delivered to Fugro’s global business units. You will drive financial performance, reinforce internal controls, and elevate transparency across a complex, asset‑intensive, and project‑driven operational landscape. Effective stakeholder management is essential you build alignment across regions and ensure that improvements are embedded and sustained throughout the organization.
Reporting directly to the Global Director Fleet Services, you will be a key contributor to the strategic direction and operational excellence of the division.

Key Responsibilities
- Hold end‑to‑end responsibility for maintaining and continuously improving the financial internal control framework for all Fleet Services processes and flows.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting, and lead the analysis of global fleet financial performance, cost trends, asset utilization, and process efficiency.
- Monitor and manage financial reporting quality, including the Finance Error Report, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Oversee the Budget Creation Cycle Time, ensuring an efficient and well‑coordinated budgeting process.
Qualifications And Experience
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field and you are certified by a professional body (e.g., Chartered/Certified Accountant/Controller);
- 10+ years of international finance leadership experience within maritime, shipping, or other asset‑intensive industries;
- Proven change‑management capabilities;
- Strong knowledge of the IFS system and advanced analytics.
- Based on your relevant experience, the salary ranges from €8.800 to €10.400. This amount is part of our salary range, with opportunities for growth within the role;
- 29 holidays per year based on a fulltime employment (of which 4 are appointed by Fugro management) and the possibility to purchase 12 additional days;
