Job Description

As an International Mobility Assistant you assist the rewards team in designing and administering Fugro’s global reward processes, policies and programs including data preparation and analysis.

Within our Global Reward department, you play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth transition of employees across borders. You are responsible for coordinating various aspects of international assignments and international compensation, ensuring compliance with Fugro procedures and applicable legislation, and providing essential support to international employees throughout their career at Fugro.

In this role you report to the Fugro Global Rewards Director and are part of the International Mobility Team.

Your role

  • You manage the end-to-end process of international assignments, including visa applications, work permits, and relocation logistics;

  • You collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure all aspects of assignments are properly coordinated and executed;

  • You advise employees and management on immigration requirements and procedures and provide ongoing support to expatriates during their assignments.

  • You draft assignment related documentation e.g. assignment letters based on the Fugro’s Global Mobility policies;

  • You maintain accurate records, documentation and HRIS systems related to international assignments;

  • You prepare reports and analyse data related to international transfers, and support international payroll.


Your track record

  • You have a BSc degree with minimum of 3 years working experience;

  • You have a can-do attitude, a pro-active approach and are a self-starter;

  • You are in the possession of good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;

  • You have an advanced capability in using MS Office and other HRIS systems;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effective with employees at all levels, and a good command in English both oral and written).
