The Regional Bid Manager supports the end-to-end bid management process within their region, ensuring high-quality, timely, and compliant proposals. This role works closely with the Regional Bid Lead, sales teams, solution architects, and subject matter experts to coordinate and produce proposals that maximize the likelihood of winning opportunities. The role is critical in translating bid strategy and complex technical inputs into a clear, compelling, and client‑focused proposal narrative that presents a unified One NCC Group solution.
Contribute to regional pipeline growth by proactively identifying, assessing, and qualifying relevant RFPs and tender opportunities via public and private procurement portals, working closely with Sales to determine bid / no‑bid decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate regional bids, ensuring compliance with client requirements and NCC Group bid governance.
- Own bid narrative cohesion, ensuring consistent messaging, structure, and tone across multi‑capability and cross‑regional responses.
- Support bid strategy and solution positioning for complex, high‑value opportunities.
- Partner with sales, technical, and delivery teams to develop accurate, high‑quality submissions.
- Manage bid plans, timelines, milestones, and internal approvals to deadline.
- Author core proposal content, translating technical inputs into a clear, client‑focused One NCC Group value proposition.
- Lead responses to corporate and social value RFP requirements.
- Maintain regional bid content, templates, and response artefacts.
- Drive post‑bid reviews to improve quality, win‑rate, and efficiency.
- Identify, qualify, monitor and prioritise opportunities via procurement portals and frameworks.
- Support bid / no‑bid decisions and ensure opportunities are logged and tracked in CRM/pipeline systems.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Minimum Requirements
- Experience in bid management, proposal coordination, or capture management.
- Strong project and time management skills, able to run multiple bids concurrently.
- Proven ability to shape and author complex proposals, including executive summaries, win themes, and value propositions for multi‑service offerings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of RFP/RFI processes, bid governance, and compliance.
- Demonstrated experience working cross‑functionally with sales, technical, and delivery teams.
- Experience qualifying and summarising tender opportunities and procurement notices for non‑technical stakeholders.
Desirable Requirements
- Background in cyber security, technology, or professional services.
- Strong capability to synthesise technical and commercial inputs into a coherent client narrative.
- Experience supporting global or multi‑region bids.
- Familiarity with CRM, content management, or proposal automation tools (e.g. Salesforce).
- Understanding of public sector or regulated industry procurement and frameworks.
