We are looking for a TechOps Engineer to join NCC group / Fox-IT TechOps capability. In this role you will work as a member of a global team specifically joining our Dutch local Infra team. Within TechOps (IT Technical Operation team) we are responsible for group IT infrastructure and the networking we run worldwide. In this role your primary focus is to work on European datacentre locations and offices and work remotely on global projects with other TechOps team members. As a member of our Dutch team, you will also work together with the local IT Specialist on the operational aspects of our Forensics lab. You will work on a variety of fields ranging from containerization / Hypervisors to networking configuration. And project roles will be ranging from design to maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain physical infrastructure components, including switches, firewalls, hypervisors, and storage systems
- Perform datacentre and server‑room engineering activities, such as equipment installation, racking, cabling, and verification
- Develop and carry out infrastructure migration approaches, ensuring continuity, reliability, and documented outcomes
- Configure and manage operating system layers and associated automation, supporting consistency and repeatability
- Manage firewall configurations and access control policies, based on defined requirements, across ESXi or equivalent hypervisor platforms
- Produce clear, structured design and technical documentation to support shared understanding and longterm maintainability
- Contribute to high‑level network design and implementation, working in coordination with the Network team
- Support procurement and product selection processes, including technical evaluation and lifecycle considerations
- Analyse functional and technical requirements, translating them into viable infrastructure solutions
- Participate in planning and alignment across teams to ensure solutions integrate effectively

- Linux Administration and Engineering
- Networking Firewalling L2/L3 / IPTables
- Windows AD
- Application Management
- SAN / hSAN administration
- JIRA or equivalent
- Linux scripting
- Creation of IaC (Ansible / Terraform)
- Fedora / Debian
- ESXi and/or equivalent
- Containerisation / Dockers
- Racking and Cable management
