Your Role

As a Financial Analyst, you will contribute to daily accounting activities, financial reporting, and analysis. You will support the preparation of daily and monthly reports, analyze and explain movements in financial figures, and help ensure the quality of our financial reporting.

You will gain exposure to FMO’s products, financial markets, and IFRS accounting principles while working closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider organization. You will also participate in projects and represent Finance during design, testing, and implementation activities.

You are eager to learn, enjoy working with data, and are curious about the underlying drivers behind financial results. You combine analytical skills with a proactive attitude and enjoy collaborating with stakeholders to improve processes and reporting.

Our Offer

For this position we offer you:

  • Gross yearly salary ranging from EUR 50-60K (based on 40 hours/ week, including 8% holiday allowance and 13th month) depending on your seniority, years of relevant experience, and background .

  • Working hours: 40 hours per week

  • Pension scheme, partly paid by FMO.

  • 31 holidays

  • Hybrid way of working (50/50).

  • Working remotely abroad for maximum 60 days in a rolling period of 12 months.

Your Team

The Finance & Control team is part of the Finance, Impact & Data department and consists of 24 professionals responsible for Accounting, (Regulatory) Reporting, IFRS Policies, and Controlling. Due to the team’s international and diverse nature, English is the primary working language.

Your Background

You are analytical, curious, and detail-oriented. You enjoy understanding the story behind the numbers and can clearly communicate your findings and recommendations. You are a team player who takes initiative and enjoys working in a dynamic environment.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0-4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Affinity with accounting, financial reporting, and financial markets.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and drive to improve.
