The Software Support Engineer works In close corporation with the client, the implementation consultant and development. In this role you register and solve end-user (functional) and technical questions.For more complex questions and issues you coördinate with the team to get them solved.
Also the software engineer will occasionally do imports in the SQL database, and or set up reports and/or iDashboards in the software and therefore need technical background.
Occasionally, the software support engineer helps improving the training compliance of the clients.
Dit breng je mee
- Education: University degree or equivalent through working experience
- 3-5 years experience as a software support engineer
- Strong and proven interest in IT and HR software on a Microsoft platform
- Technical knowledge proven experience with SQL and Advanced Excel is necessary.
- EXperienced with Microsoft SQL tools, Query and Statements.
- Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS and/or SSAS is an advantage.
- Knowledge of iDashboards (information dashboards) is also an advantage.
- Experienced to work on an international orientated client software support desk
- You are client friendly, convincing and have excellent analytical skills to qualify the questions.
- You have excellent writing, speaking and presentational skills in English
- Knowledge of HR systems used in the oil and gas industry is a strong advantage.
- Willing to travel abroad (short and/or long)to Sharjah (United Arab Emirates) or Houston (US)
- Working hours full time

This is a permanent position. First contract is 7 months, then permanent. We would like you to start asap but one month notification time can be discussed. Remuneration competitive salary, Dutch: situation 26 holidays, pension plan. Other locations on request.
