With more than 120 colleagues worldwide, at Eternal Sun we create sunlight! We design and manufacture high-end solar simulators that are used in factories that manufacture solar panels. Our customers are the world's largest solar panel manufacturers and leading R&D laboratories that are rapidly bringing new technical innovations to market. Solar energy is growing rapidly worldwide and is now even expanding into space! To keep up with this growth, we want to expand our team with a Field Marketing Manager, based in The Hague.
The Role
We are looking for a Field Marketing Manager to both create more and better leads through marketing activities such as events, campaigns, as well as making sure we have the right content and materials to support sales. You will do this partly yourself, and partly by managing external agencies (SEO, website builders, copywriters, designers etc).
This role operates as a sole marketing role in both a highly technical and sales-driven environment. Success requires strong alignment within the sales team in which you operate, and with the technical teams. You have to be comfortable in that position.
Job requirements
Core Responsibilities
● Events & Field Execution
Own end-to-end execution of trade shows, conferences, and customer events. Manage logistics, vendors, booth design & setup, and ensure strong lead capture and follow-up
● Sales Alignment & Support
Partner closely with Sales and Tech teams. Maintain sales materials, create targeted sales plays, and translate field feedback into improved messaging
● Demand Generation & Lead Management
Manage leads in CRM, ensure no lead leakage, build nurture flows, run demand generation and ABM programs
● Campaigns & Local Activation
Execute targeted campaigns via LinkedIn, email, and industry channels aligned with sales priorities and key regions
● Market Feedback Loop
Gather insights from customers, events, and Sales to refine messaging and improve go-to-market strategies
● Performance & Reporting
Track pipeline impact, lead conversion, and ROI. Optimize activities based on results
● Manage external partners
We use, and can use, external experts, such as design agencies, content creators, SEO specialists etc. You have to be able to manage and qualify their work
Profile & Experience
3–5 years in B2B marketing. Experience in industrial, hardware, energy, or other technical environments preferred
CRM experience (we use Pipedrive) required
Experience with WordPress CMS required

Comfortable working with technical stakeholders and translating complex information into actionable marketing activities
Proactive in sourcing information internally and externally and building understanding of products and solutions
Thrive in a lean, pragmatic setup rather than expect a large marketing infrastructure
This clarity is important to ensure a strong mutual fit and long-term satisfaction on both sides
Travel
~25% travel required, mostly visiting trade shows in Europe and the US
Success in This Role
Online (website, campaigns, SEO, sales materials, etc.) and offline (events) activities generate qualified leads, with no lead leakage, strong sales alignment, and clear pipeline contribution
