Generate access to sustainable water.As a Project Engineer, your primary focus will be designing and assembling our units at our office, located by the beach in the harbor of Scheveningen. Once the units are transported to the client’s location, you will also take part in commissioning the technology on-site and providing operational training to the client.While your role is focused on execution, you will also have the opportunity to closely work together with our technical director and become involved in the development and standardization of our products. As of such, experience with CAD-programs is desired and you are comfortable with P&ID’s. Together with our other project engineers, you will be responsible to place and check the orders at our partners/OEM’s, prepare and build skids & containerized desalination units powered by solar energy, arrange the logistics and execute these projects on-site. This will involve international travel, usually for 1–2 weeks per trip, varying between 0–3 trips each quarter.Who are we looking for? Experienced & committed hero.Our ideal new team-member has: An MBO+/HBO degree and 1–2 years of relevant hands-on experience; experience with technical assembly and installations, including basic electrical knowledge; ability to manage partner & supplier relations with attention to detail and logistics; enjoys working with tools; comfortable with long-distance travel and being overseas; works precisely and with instructions; capable of managing multiple projects end-to-end; turns ideas into actions and thinks in solutions; comfortable working independently on-site in unknown environments (luxurious resorts, private islands, remote communities); sensitive to client needs and able to represent our organization abroad; adapts to local (island) practices and mindsets; excellent communication skills in English and at least one more language; positive energy & cultural sensitivity; motivated by meaningful impact.What do we offer?
