Our Leiden facility is the workplace of 40 RD&E associates from several nationalities and serves as the European center for Industrial water and energy optimization solutions. The facilities house analytical and microbiology experts and enough lab space for every product development chemist or engineer to innovate towards a sustainable future. The range of equipment present in the application lab enables the product developers to test under real conditions.
We are currently looking for a Program Leader Research & Development
You will:
Be a divisional RD&E leader for the strategic business units Primary Metals, Power, and Mining.
Collaborate with innovation partners in these businesses to define a sustainable innovation strategy and technology roadmap.
Work jointly with European & Global marketing, sales, RD&E, regulatory and supply chain functions to develop the innovation funnel and to deliver both innovation projects and product portfolio maintenance projects.
Translate customer needs into a balanced innovation portfolio, coordinate this portfolio towards timely delivery and maximum impact in the market.
Co-operate in international cross-functional and cross-divisional project teams to foster strategic development and innovation.
Ensure efficient and effective project management in the organization, co-manage the project portfolio for the business segment and support and lead complex projects with global reach and moderate business impact.
Your have:
Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or microbiology
Profound experience in a relevant area in an internationally operating company with a link to industrial operations and sustainability
Experience in the Primary Metals, Power, and Mining industries
Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of leading projects of significant importance and impact.
Demonstrated communication, networking and intercultural collaboration skills as well as analytical, structured and solution-oriented working manner, organizing ability
Fluency in English is a must, further languages are a plus.
