Within TTH, the Ingredient Solutions (ISOL) division is a global leader in food enzymes, cultures, taste and health ingredients, and solutions used by top global and local food brands.
At the Center for Food Innovation (CFI) - our dedicated R&D hub - you will join the Sensory Group, supporting sensory panels that contribute to projects across Savory, Dairy, and Meat Alternatives. This is an opportunity to work at the heart of product innovation and quality, in a team that values expertise, collaboration, and continuous learning.

The position is for 0.6 FTE, with on-site presence on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Your key responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute routine sensory tests with trained sensory panels, internal panels, and Quality Control panels
  • Collect samples, prepare test setups, and manage test execution using EyeQuestion software
  • Organize panel sessions, including contacting panel members, scheduling, and maintaining panel databases
  • Ensure smooth and accurate execution of sensory sessions following internal standards
  • Contribute to R&D projects, production sample release, and business‑driven requests through precise sensory data collection
  • Support sensory colleagues with inventory management and administrative tasks & collaborate closely within the Sensory Group to ensure high‑quality sensory practices

You bring

  • MBO degree in nutrition, analytical sciences, or a related field
  • Experience working with sensory panels (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with EyeQuestion is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Ideally the NIMA/MOA Sensorisch Onderzoeker A certification, or willingness to obtain it
  • A hospitable, accurate, and people‑oriented working style with the ability to be assertive when needed. A flexible, result‑driven mindset and strong customer focus
  • Initiative, eagerness to learn, and the ability to use and share best practices across sensory and product development teams
