Corsano Health is looking for a dynamic Data Scientist Intern for our Yes!Delft office in The Hague, reporting to the Chief Medical Officer. You will work with users to define processes and recommend solutions and improvements. Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently, creatively, and analytically are required. The position can start part-time (8 hours/week). Pay commensurate with attitude, experience, and hustle.Your Impact:- Work with users to define/improve processes; liaise with Strategic Improvement Department- Develop/verify test plans; develop project work plans; document workflows- Conduct analysis of alternatives, recommendations, data mapping- Select features; build/optimize classifiers using ML techniques- Data mining with state-of-the-art methods; extend company data with third-party sources- Enhance data collection for analytics; process/clean/verify data integrity- Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results clearly- Create automated anomaly detection systems and track performanceMinimum Qualifications:- BSc Computer Science or Technical Medicine TU Delft; currently studying MSc- Excellent understanding of ML techniques/algorithms (k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.)- Experience with data science toolkits (R, Weka, NumPy, MatLab, etc.)- Strong communication skills- Experience with data visualization tools (D3.js, GGplot, etc.)- Proficiency with query languages (SQL, Hive, Pig)- Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB)- Applied statistics (distributions, testing, regression, etc.)- Good scripting/programming skills; data-oriented personality- Highly effective communicator (written and oral, English)- Organized, detail-oriented, self-starter; excellent presentation/teaching skills- Dedicated to professional growth via continuous educationYour Team:Corsano Health B.V. develops, produces, and markets medically certified continuous health monitoring devices.
