Head of Global Engineering
The Position
We are looking for a Global Corporate Head – Engineering to lead our global engineering function and drive engineering excellence across our manufacturing network. This key global leadership role, This strategic role will drive transformation across our manufacturing network—setting the engineering vision, strengthening reliability, ensuring governance, and building capability across our manufacturing network.
This roles report to our Chief Technical Operations Officer who in turns reports directly to CEO.
We are seeking a leader with expertise in API and Pharma engineering, strong global exposure, and a proven record of managing complex, multi-country engineering operations.
What you’ll lead?
- Engineering teams across 6 sites as a functional lead
- CapEx planning, asset reliability & performance improvement
- Global engineering projects, maintenance & asset management
- Process Safety governance, compliance & global standardization
- Automation & digital transformation
What will you do?
- Provide strategic leadership to the Global Engineering Function, overseeing all Engineering Projects, Maintenance programs, and long-term asset management initiatives across the network.
- Lead global Process Safety governance, ensuring robust engineering standards, compliance, technical assessments, and uniform implementation of best practices across all sites.
- Drive the Operational Technology (OT) and digital transformation agenda, enabling modernization, automation, and enhanced connectivity to support efficiency, data integrity, and future-ready operations.
- Strengthen asset reliability and performance, oversee capital planning and execution (CapEx), and build engineering capability through global frameworks, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide strategic direction, coaching, and functional support to engineering teams across 8 manufacturing sites in India, China, Europe, and the Americas, ensuring alignment, operational excellence, and consistent engineering performance worldwide.
- Foster a high -performance culture focused on safety, efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with site and corporate teams to ensure alignment, compliance, and operational excellence.
What we are looking for?
- 15+ years of experience in API/Pharma engineering.
- Proven experience managing multi-country engineering operations.
- Strong exposure to global engineering governance, process safety, and CapEx.
- Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-geography teams.
- Experience in OT, automation, or digital engineering will be an advantage.
