Communications Intern
The Position
Looking for an internship where you’ll genuinely contribute—not just observe? At Centrient Pharmaceuticals, we’re offering an opportunity to work on meaningful communications projects that bring our purpose and people to life, both inside and outside the company.
As a Communications Intern, you’ll support our internal and external communications efforts—strengthening our internal culture and enhancing our external presence on platforms like LinkedIn. This is a hands-on role with real ownership and learning opportunities across the function.
The main activities and responsibilities
- Drafting and editing content for a range of internal and external channels—from social media to newsletters to stakeholder updates.
- Monitoring media coverage and conducting media research to support social media strategy.
- Analyzing the effectiveness of our internal and external communications channels and proposing ideas to enhance clarity, engagement, and reach.
- Supporting and updating Centrient’s internal employee portal and website—writing news stories and supporting the development of key media assets, such as press releases and visual materials.
- Assisting in the preparation and delivery of team meetings and communications touchpoints, including background materials, PowerPoint decks, and logistics coordination.
- Supporting other departmental activities as needed (e.g., ESG).
Who we’re looking for:
- Enrolled in a university program, working towards a bachelor's degree in Communication or a related discipline.
- Near native or excellent English fluency. Dutch or Spanish an advantage.
- Basic writing, planning and Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, PowerPoint) skills (knowledge of inDesign, Photoshop, or other design tools a plus).
- Responsible, organized and ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Ability to work in an international environment.
- Curious and enthusiastic, with an interest in communications.
- Flexible with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
Terms and reward
- The internship includes a flexible 3–6-month contract ending in December 2025 and requires 40 hours per week.
- The internship fee is EUR 500 gross per month.
- We strive for the earliest possible start date for the internship.
- Presence in the office is mandatory on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Monday and Friday are flexible office days.
