What You’ll Do
We’re looking for a hands-on Lab Supervisor to make sure our production lab runs safely, efficiently, and with the right systems in place as we grow into our new facilities in Delft. You’ll be the point person for all lab operations — from coordinating installations and procurement to maintaining safety, documentation, and workflow standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily lab operations, ensuring equipment, utilities, and safety systems function smoothly.
Coordinate with contractors and suppliers on lab installations, equipment setup, and maintenance.
Manage procurement and inventory of chemicals, consumables, and gases.
Implement and uphold lab safety, GLP, and 5S standards, including documentation and risk assessments.
Support onboarding and training of lab users, promoting safe and efficient work practices.
Drive continuous improvements in organization, workflow, and operational excellence across production activities.

Requirements
HBO/BSc degree in Chemistry
5+ years of hands-on lab experience in an analytical lab
Strong understanding of lab safety procedures and GLP
Experience setting up and managing labs incl. equipment instalment, calibration and maintenance
Fluency in both English and Dutch is a must
Willingness to travel occasionally (2–3 times per year for production projects abroad)
Nice-to-haves:
Experience with analytical techniques (e.g., nitrogen physisorption, rheology, Raman, SEM, Karl Fischer titration)
Familiarity with carbon materials
