We are looking for a Senior Buyer - Mechanical Packages (Offshore EPC) to manage the procurement of critical static and rotating equipment for large-scale offshore and oil & gas projects, ensuring successful package delivery from sourcing through manufacturing and final delivery.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Lead procurement activities for complex mechanical equipment packages within offshore EPC projects.
- Manage sourcing, RFQs, technical/commercial evaluations, and supplier selection processes.
- Procure static and rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and packaged systems.
- Coordinate closely with engineering teams to align technical specifications and procurement strategy.
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, delivery schedules, and supplier performance requirements.
- Monitor manufacturing progress, expediting activities, inspections, and delivery milestones.
- Resolve technical and commercial deviations with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Support project execution by managing procurement risks, schedule impacts, and package interfaces.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with project requirements, procedures, and quality standards.
- Provide procurement reporting, forecasting, and status updates to project stakeholders.
Requirements Senior Buyer - Mechanical Packages (Offshore EPC)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- At least 10 years of procurement experience within offshore, oil & gas, or EPC projects.
- Proven experience procuring mechanical packages for complex engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of static and rotating equipment procurement processes.
- Experience with offshore production facilities, FPSO projects, or large industrial EPC projects is highly preferred.
- Experience managing suppliers, technical bid evaluations, manufacturing follow-up, and package delivery.
- Familiarity with vendor documentation, inspections, and expediting activities.
- Strong understanding of engineering specifications and multidisciplinary project environments.
- Experience working with ERP and procurement systems.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
