Can you keep large-scale engineering projects on schedule in fast-moving EPC environments? Do you have experience managing complex schedules across engineering, procurement, and construction teams?

We are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to develop, manage, and optimise project schedules, ensuring complex engineering projects are delivered efficiently and on time.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams to align project timelines and milestones.
- Monitor project progress, identify schedule risks and delays, and implement corrective actions.

- Prepare and manage progress reports, schedule updates, forecasts, and earned value analyses.
- Analyse project trends and provide planning insights to support decision-making.
- Lead planning meetings and ensure alignment between internal and external stakeholders.
- Support resource planning and optimise scheduling strategies across project phases.
- Ensure compliance with project procedure, safety standards, and planning methodologies.
- Mentor junior planning engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements Senior Planning Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in project planning within oil & gas, offshore, EPC, or large industrial projects.
- Strong proficiency with Primavera P6 (preferred) and/or MS Project.
- Experience with schedule management, forecasting, progress monitoring, and earned value analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary and fast-paced project environments.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Oil & gas experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Candidates must be willing to work in a hybrid setup.
