We are looking for a QC Welding Engineer to ensure the quality and compliance of welding processes, inspections, and mechanical equipment across international engineering and fabrication projects.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Prepare and review Inspection & test Plans (ITPs) for mechanical equipment and fabrication packages.
- Review supplier quality documentation, including WPS, PQR, QCPs, NDT and PWHT documentation.
- Coordinate and perform vendor inspections worldwide, including pre-inspection meetings.
- Monitor welding quality and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Act as the focal point for suppliers on QC-related issues, deviations, and non-conformities.
- Support supplier and subcontractor quality surveillance throughout project execution.
- Instruct and coordinate local inspectors during inspection activities.
- Participate in internal QC reviews and multidisciplinary project meetings.
- Support quality assurance and continuous improvement within vendor performance management.
- Provide technical expertise on welding quality matters across international projects.
Requirements QC Welding Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- IWE or IWT certification.
- At least 8 years of experience in a similar QC/Welding Engineering or vendor inspection role.
- Strong knowledge of ASME IX, ASME codes, PED and welding quality standards.
- Experience reviewing welding procedures, qualifications and inspection documentation.
- Knowledge of NDT methods and quality oversight in EPC or industrial projects.
- Background in oil & gas, energy, petrochemical, process industry or heavy fabrication.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Strong communication skills and fluent in English.
