Lead Inspection Coordinator

We are looking for a Lead Inspection Coordinator to oversee and coordinate inspection activities across complex projects, ensuring supplier deliverables meet quality, schedule, and contractual requirements. This is a senior, coordination-focused role (not a line-management position) that requires strong experience in inspection and supplier oversight.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Act as the single point of contact for all inspection-related matters between project teams, suppliers, and third-party agencies.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee inspection activities in line with project inspection plans and contractual requirements.
• Manage and supervise third-party inspection services, including technical, commercial, and performance aspects.
• Monitor supplier and sub-supplier progress, identifying and mitigating risks impacting quality, schedule, or compliance.
• Ensure QA/QC standards, traceability, and reporting accuracy across all inspection activities.
• Provide clear visibility through progress reporting, data tracking, and performance analysis.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely execution of inspection milestones.
• Lead, coach, and support the inspection team, ensuring alignment with processes and continuous improvement.
• Participate in project meetings and support issue resolution and recovery planning when needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in inspection, manufacturing, supply chain, or project execution within oil & gas or energy projects.
• Strong experience in inspection coordination, QA/QC processes, and supplier management.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and contract execution within complex projects.
• Certifications in inspection techniques such as NDT, NACE, COMPEX, or Coatings Inspection are a strong plus!
• Experience with inspection reporting, progress tracking, and data consolidation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Offshore experience is a plus!
