We are looking for a Senior Buyer to lead the procurement of critical equipment, materials, and services for complex projects, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, strong supplier partnerships, and on-time delivery.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Develop and lead procurement strategies and purchasing plans aligned with project schedules and budgets.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms for critical equipment and services.
- Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring compliance with project specifications and procurement policies.
- Monitor procurement activities to ensure timely delivery and cost control.
- Maintain close collaboration with project teams, category managers, and suppliers to manage risks and resolve issues.
- Provide procurement status updates and reporting to project stakeholders.
- Mentor and support junior buyers within the procurement team.
Requirements Senior Buyer
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of procurement experience within the oil & gas or energy sector.
- Proven experience negotiating high-value contracts and supplier agreements.
- Strong knowledge of procurement strategies, supplier management, and purchasing processes.
- Experience with procurement software and ERP systems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and organisational abilities in fast-paced project environments.
