Quality Control Coordinator

Do you have experience turning complex QC requirements into clear ITPs that suppliers actually follow? Can you keep critical materials compliant, from cert review to preservation?

We are looking for a Quality Control Coordinator to own project QC from contract review to close-out, setting inspection criteria, coordinating inspectors, and ensuring materials, welding, coating and NDT meet standards and specs.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Act as the primary QC contract for assigned projects, review contracts and define inspector qualifications/coverage.
• Develop project-specific QC requirements and advise the project team, contribute to technical specs and standards for procured/subcontracted items.
• Review and approve subcontractor/supplier documents (ITPs, WPS/PQR, procedures, schedules) and monitor QC performance.
• Attend/kick off pre-production and qualification activities, perform shop/fabrication inspections for materials, welding, coating, and NDT.
• Verify material certifications, storage/preservation/handling, implement ITP hold/witness point and record results.
• Conduct supplier/subcontractor audits, raise NCRs, track corrective actions, and drive preventive improvements.
• Maintain audit-ready QC-documentation and dossiers, support client/third-party audits and project close-out.

• Bachelor's/HTS in Mechanical Engineering (or similar), with technical training, ideally in offshore/fabrication/piping.
• A few years of QC/inspection experience in fabrication/offshore environments.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and industry codes (API, AWS, ASME, BS-EN, DNV).
• Familiarity with welding/coating/NDT methods, CSWIP 3.1, and NDT knowledge are strong pluses.
• Strong documentation/report writing and stakeholder communication, including Dutch language ability.
• Willing to learn and willing to travel occasionally.
