Profile Warranty Manager
When a high-value asset fails offshore, are you the calm coordinator who aligns engineering, quality, procurement, and service to resolve it? Can you lead warranty process standardisation across projects (templates, work instructions, dashboards)?
-
We are looking for a Warranty Manager to own the end-to-end warranty lifecycle for offshore energy assets, from claim intake and root-cause analysis through supplier recovery, repair/return logistics and close-out, driving down cost and risk while keeping customers informed.
-
Tasks & responsibilities:
- Lead the full warranty process: receipt, triage, validation, approval, resolution and formal close-out.
- Run root-cause analyses (e.g., FMEA, 8D) and launch CAPA to eliminate repeat defects.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, procurement, service/field teams to define fixes and implement improvements.
- Act as primary point of contact for clients on warranty topics; manage escalations and expectations.
- Evaluate, negotiate and enforce supplier/subcontractor warranty terms, including cost recovery and reimbursements.
- Prepare and track warranty KPIs (TAT, recurring-defect closure, cost per case, customer satisfaction), report status and trends.
- Maintain accurate, auditable records in PLM/PDM/ERP; keep all correspondence and evidence complete and searchable.
- Coordinate RMA/return logistics, repair flows and service interventions with suppliers and site teams.
- Standardise and continuously improve warranty processes, templates, and work instructions across projects.
- Feed lessons learned into design, qualification and supplier development activities.
