We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to establish and maintain practical quality and information security systems while ensuring ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 compliance, embedding stage-gating and continuous improvement processes, and turning expertise into user-friendly procedures across offshore projects.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a unified Quality Management System that captures 25 years of offshore expertise and translates it into clear, practical procedures.
- Define and implement stage-gating methodologies, ensuring consistent quality checks at each project milestone.
- Develop targeted procedures in collaboration with project teams, department heads, and procurement to implement quality in day-to-day operations.
- Establish and manage the Information Security Management System (ISMS), maintaining ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 27001 (Information Security).
- Plan and coordinate internal and external audits, liaising with certifying bodies and driving corrective and improvement actions.
- Monitor compliance, quality metrics, and security controls across all offshore energy, maritime, and infrastructure projects.
- Report directly to the management board, providing visibility on quality and security performance, risks, and improvement initiatives.
- Lead a small QA team, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and practical user-friendliness in all quality processes.
Requirements QA Manager
- Higher Education degree (HBO or University) in a technical or business oriented field.
- At least 10 years of experience in quality management or in establishing and rolling out quality systems, preferably in offshore or energy sectors.
- Deep knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g., Kotter).
- Strong background in risk management, auditing, and certification processes (ISO 9001, ISO 27001).
- Proven ability to work within matrix project organisations, switching seamlessly between departmental and project priorities.
- Familiarity with quality and security management tools such as Marvin or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch, both verbally and written, with a proven ability to engage stakeholders clearly and persuasively.
