We are looking for a Subsea Robotics Engineer to oversee the mobilisation, maintenance, and operation of submersible robotics and tooling systems for reliable offshore inspection and intervention.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Prepare and coordinate the mobilisation of remotely operated vehicle (ROV) systems and tooling on both in-house and third-party vessels.
  • Oversee maintenance, testing, and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic components of underwater robotic vehicles.
  • Support subsea vehicle operations by liaising with vessel crews and project teams to ensure smooth technical execution.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of innovative inspection and intervention tooling and integration solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues during offshore campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate records of servicing activities, spare parts usage, and equipment status.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Department to stay ahead of new regulations, standards, and client requirements.

Requirements Subsea Robotics Engineer

  • Technical degree in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
  • Practical maintenance experience in nautical, naval, or aircraft systems.
  • Hands-on familiarity with ROV operations and/or subsea tooling (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication abilities and team-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to support both office-based planning and occasional offshore activities.
