We are looking for a Project Operations Engineer to plan, coordinate, and support offshore installation spreads and onshore logistics while ensuring equipment readiness, mobilisation, and safe operation execution in accordance with project requirements and schedules.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Prepare and ready offshore installation spreads, ensuring all certification, bridging documentation, SIMOPS, and safety assurance processes are in place.
- Coordinate logistics, transportation, safety, and certification support for offshore and onshore operations.
- Join daily conference calls with vessels and review offshore installation procedures.
- Assist project and field engineers with vessel readiness, mobilisation, and demobilisation of equipment.
- Liaise with operations, fabrications, and commissioning teams (OR, FID, CID, etc.) to address crew, equipment, and spare parts needs.
- Issue requisitions for dedicated operations and logistics equipment.
- Supervise material tracking, inspection, delivery, tracking, and demobilisation via the project's material tracker.
- Review third-party spread Standards Operating Procedures for compliance.
- Develop and execute mobilisation task plans and procedures as directed.
- Manage preparation and on-hire surveys of cargo barges and support vessels, ensuring compliance with assurance processes.
- Coordinate in-country logistics activities (freight forwarding, shipping, local procurement) and provide technical input to SCM teams.
- Monitor and report in-country expense commitments in collaboration with cost controllers.
- Ensure all activities comply with project requirements, group methods, and safety, health, and quality standards.
Requirements Project Operations Engineer
- At least 5 years of experience in offshore construction (including shallow water operations).
- Background in large EPCI or SURF projects, with emphasis on logistics support, mobilisation, and field engineering.
- Strong coordination skills with subcontractors and support service providers.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Proficient in project planning (Microsoft Project) and adept at developing schedules and task plans.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
