About This Role
About Beakwise
Beakwise is an international R&D and product company building enterprise-grade software platforms for large organizations. Financial services is our primary focus today (insurance, banking, payments), and our ambition is broader: to become a trusted software and technology products vendor for large enterprises across industries.
The opportunity
You will lead new business development across Europe, representing Beakwise to enterprise decision-makers and building a pipeline that turns into real deals.
This role is for someone who enjoys:
- Opening doors with senior stakeholders
- Turning "good conversations" into qualified opportunities
- Translating complex tech into clear business outcomes
- Working across cultures, time zones, and buying committees
Territory and travel
You will be based in The Hague and travel across Europe for client meetings, partner discussions, and industry events. Expect meaningful time with customers in-market.
Real work examples (the kind of things you'll do)
- Turn a first meeting with a COO/CIO into a qualified opportunity with a clear next step, timeline, and buying committee
- Run discovery that surfaces the real problem (not the polite one) and shape a demo story around measurable outcomes
- Coordinate with architects so proposals are credible, scoped, and easy to say "yes" to
Required Qualifications
What we're looking for (must have)
- Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- 2–5 years in a client-facing role (business development, sales, account management, consulting, or similar)
- Comfort speaking with senior executives (you can hold the room)
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- A practical, structured approach to pipeline creation and qualification
- Tech curiosity: you don't need to code, but you must learn products and explain value simply
Big plus
- Experience selling B2B enterprise software, digital transformation, or technology services
- Familiarity with regulated industries (financial services is a strong advantage)
- Additional European languages (for example Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian)
- Existing network across Europe (enterprise accounts, partners, or ecosystem)
Key Responsibilities
What you'll do
Pipeline and market development
- Identify and engage target enterprise accounts across Europe
- Build and manage a structured pipeline: outreach, discovery, qualification, next steps
- Develop relationships with C-level stakeholders and influential operators
Consultative sales (end-to-end)
- Lead discovery conversations and define the value narrative
- Present Beakwise solutions with clarity, not buzzwords
- Own the sales cycle from first meeting to signed contract (with support from leadership and technical teams)
Partnership and ecosystem motion
- Build relationships with local partners and consultancies where it accelerates access and credibility
- Represent Beakwise at relevant industry events
Internal coordination
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to shape demos, proposals, and solution narratives
- Keep CRM hygiene and reporting clean so leadership can support you effectively
What We Offer
What we offer
- Regional ownership: real responsibility and room to build
- Direct access to leadership and technical experts (you won't sell alone)
- A product and engineering organization you can be proud to represent
- Competitive compensation aligned with experience and performance
Hiring process (what to expect)
- Intro call (fit, territory, expectations)
- Practical interview (pipeline, qualification, discovery, deal motion)
- Final conversation (leadership alignment and next steps)
